Electronic Partnerships
Cambridge eBooks are made available with a variety of appropriate Electronic Partnerships which currently include:
We are also participating with a number of online aggregated and subscription services:
- eBrary (www.ebrary.com) - an 'aggregated' service that offers users the opportunity to browse the content of many publishers' titles through two distinct channels:
- (1) Personal users can browse the content and print or download extracts for a fee. This service also links to the printed book's webpage at the online bookstores Amazon (www.amazon.com), and Barnes & Noble (www.barnesandnoble.com), encouraging the purchase of the print edition.
- (2) Institutional libraries pay a subscription fee enabling their patrons to browse eBrary's content and print and download extracts.
- Books24x7 (www.books24x7.com) - a subscription service specialising in business and technology content
- The American Council of Learned Societies' History E-Book Project (www.historyebook.org) - a subscription service specialising in works of major importance to historical studies
- xrefer (www.xreferplus.com) - a digital reference library
