Samples

It is important that you provide samples of your material early on. These samples will be looked at by our production and copy-editorial departments, who will let us know if there are any problems with the style and formatting of your manuscript. Resolving these problems early on will save both time and money when the book eventually goes into production.

For sample testing we will need

  • a table of contents
  • three or four chapters - if you are writing in Latex we will need both the tex files and pdfs
  • some references
  • some figures

Anything you supply at this stage will be treated only as a sample and not as final material. You are free to continue making amendments to anything you supply for sample testing.

Please do take into account any comments you receive about your samples. This will not only make things easier for us, but for you as well. In some cases submitted manuscripts are returned to authors if the changes have not been made.
